Saturday Serenity: Layered Clouds

Lake Michigan and the skies over Chicago certainly have created some incredible scenery lately.  With an orange, sherbet-looking sky the other day (thanks to The Weather Network’s Meteorologist Chris Murphy for that description!), I was wondering what the next scene would look like!

Enter yesterday’s creation, compliments of the illustrious sky painter who decided to use the ‘layered look’ on nature’s canvas.

I just love this sky! Today it is grey and dull, so I’ll no doubt be looking to the photos from the past couple of days for some inspiration.

I hope Saturday is filled will layers of lovely moments!
