On March 16, 2024, the Chicago Plumbers Union Local 130 again had the honor of bestowing the Chicago River with its neon green color since 1962. A vegetable dye is used to create this incredible sight:

I remember when I lived in Chicago – the river got so polluted it didn’t dye properly – it was really the plumbers who saved the river – they deserve all the accolades!
