Let’s Zoom In on the Chicago River!

I thought I’d share with you a picture I took from my helicopter adventure (Part 1 ,

Part 2 and Part 3) but with a ‘zoomed’ perspective.  This is the Chicago River, meandering its way through downtown Chicago.  Despite the fact we were high above Lake Michigan, I like this zoom-in look because it gives you a little bit more detail of the buildings along the river.

You know, I still cannot get over the color of the water here in Chicago.  Whether it’s a blueish green, blue, or downright green, I think it makes me feel I’m in some exotic location for a moment.  But then, would I be able to get the best deep dish pizza in the heart of Bora Bora? Perhaps not. 🙂

Great picture! Most of the pics of the river I see look east toward the lake. I don’t see many from the lake looking west.

Thank you, John! That’s true! I suppose only from a helicopter (or drone) can you get that perspective! Cher xo
