The interesting thing about this photo is that it’s actually the light from a sunset that’s illuminating the clouds. Lake Michigan is East, which is why my photos are usually sunrises. This happens once in a while, and I utterly adore it!

Speaking of coloured bodies of water… You know how The Chicago River is dyed a bright emerald green each year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? Do you think they would dye it pink on 9/25 to honour Dolly Parton just like the empire state building was lit up in pink for her?
