Sunrise, Lake Michigan: Lighted Water Path

This morning’s sunrise over Lake Michigan here in Chicago has a lovely ‘water path.’ With some subtle sunbeams gazing down upon Lake Michigan, it’s just a hop, skip, and a jump down the lighted path and up onto the shore!

I love how the sunshine paves the way across the lake!

As is often the case over Lake Michigan, the sun was fleeting, and the clouds have now replaced the bright spots in the sky.

Nevertheless, we know the sun is there, don’t we? Perhaps a nice little metaphor for the way things are in the world at this time. Definitely brighter skies are looming, and in no time I’m sure we’ll see a huge, positive change in our pandemic state.

I hope you have a lighted path to guide you today!
