Reflections of Fire & Ice

Wow! That pretty much sums up my reaction to this morning’s sunrise!  In an earlier post I mentioned that the sunrises this winter weren’t as intriguing as those in years gone by.  The sky painter certainly heard my comments!

With brilliant yellow, orange, and pink tones reflecting onto Lake Michigan’s icy surface, I’d say this was a delightful combination of ‘fire and ice’, don’t you think?

Ah, contrasts; there is so much beauty when opposites work together!

Here’s to a balanced, beautiful day in your corner of the globe!

Isn’t this amazing, Erika? It was fleeting; the sun took backstage shortly after that, and the grey clouds rolled in. Thank you my dear! Cher xo
