Muted Monday Morning

By all accounts I’d say it is a rather muted Monday morning.  Lake Michigan has a veneer of ice on its surface which appears washed in orange, opaque tones.

Although dissimilar to some of the bright and bold sunrises I see now and again, I think this morning’s arrival is a fine way to start the week, don’t you think?

So here’s to muffled Monday, in all its glory!

And now, yours truly is about to embark on some coffee revival!  I hope you have a lovely, gentle day!

Wow, another stunning image. I heard it snowed a lot over the weekend. That adds more beauty to the scenery and the reflections!

Thank you, Erika! Yes, it sure did! But most of it has melted. I think we have been extremely lucky the past few winters; there has been a relatively small amount of snow! But you are right; truly it does add more beauty, doesn’t it? And the ice on the water helps a lot! Cher xo
