Saturday Serenity: Bygone Sunrise

I took the above photo almost a year ago.  For some reason I haven’t seen as many stunning sunrises for quite some time.  Every morning I literally look out the window just to see if the sky painter has quietly been working on a picturesque sunrise.

Isn’t it interesting how weather can really affect our mood?  Today’s skies are completely grey, and Lake Michigan matches perfectly with opaque hues of white and light blue.

Ah, but this photo! I feel brighter already!

I have an interesting story to share with you for tomorrow’s post; this picture is inspiring me to get cracking and write about it!

I hope you have a brilliant Saturday, whether your skies are blue, grey, or somewhere in between!

I love a good sunset picture. I use them as wallpaper on my phone and computer just to lift my mood

Cher, since moving to Las Vegas nearly five years ago, I can speak with experience how much the lack of sunshine affects my daily mood. The few days per year that the sun doesn’t poke through are the days I have a definite shift in mood. Perhaps made more obvious to me because of having lived in Michigan 50+ years. lovely photo from last year! Happy weekend Cher! ❤️
