Terrific! Covered, wooden bridges are one of my weak points – now if only there was a horse …..
Ah, indeed, GP! I must tell you that during the Battle of Gettysburg there were many troops crossing that bridge. I am sure many horses did as well! Cher xo
Lovely, Cher! Reminds me of one of our historic Rhine bridges just 15 minutes from here.
Oh is there, Erika? That is so cool! Cher xo
Yes, it really is 😊 Hope this works:

No, did not work either. But you might see it when you click on the link!
A very “romantic” bridge; reminds me of Mennonite Country in Canada. Is that Pop’s I see there in the distance? LOL. xox

I have investigated Sach’s Bridge many times and the house right next to it that served as a hospital during the Civil War….lots of activity as well as being a beautiful structure.
Well my dear (and a big welcome to The Chicago Files)! I would absolutely love to hear more about it. Here is my email address if you wouldn’t mind sending me an email sometime: cher72@hotmail.com or thechicagofiles@gmail.com Cher xo
