    Terrific! Covered, wooden bridges are one of my weak points – now if only there was a horse …..

      Ah, indeed, GP! I must tell you that during the Battle of Gettysburg there were many troops crossing that bridge. I am sure many horses did as well! Cher xo

    Lovely, Cher! Reminds me of one of our historic Rhine bridges just 15 minutes from here.

    I have investigated Sach’s Bridge many times and the house right next to it that served as a hospital during the Civil War….lots of activity as well as being a beautiful structure.
