Ya never know what these critters are thinking, however they think? 85 today with crazy up and down temps for the next few days but the sun is shining, the most important thing to keep the blahs away!

Happy Saturday! Be safe, I see there are a lot of tornadoes up there already this spring.

Happy Saturday to you, John! Yes, thank you! There was quite the lightning show last night over Lake Michigan. I tried to get some photos but it was primarily sheet lightning.

Why thanks so much, Mitch! I just got a new phone (Android – Samsung Galaxy S26). It takes incredible photos! It seems especially clear when taking photos on cloudy days. I just zoomed in a wee bit – when I looked at the squirrel I thought, wow, that’s super clear!
Thank you again, Mitch! I’m excited to explore the new features of the camera! Cher xoxoxo

LOL. The mighty squirrels are my husband’s nemesis. They swing from our bird feeders like they’re taunting him! 😂🐿️

I grew up in Indianapolis. A few years ago my brother and I spent a few days in Chi as we took a train to Ind from Portland, OR. It was so fun. We took the architectual river cruise and did a lot of walking around looking at parks and statues.

That’s lovely to hear, Marsha! There is so much to see and do here! I’m sure you felt that way when you and your brother visited. Do you recall having a favorite part of the visit? Cher xoxoxo

I love the water. We had so much fun on the river tour. We took a taxi ride on the lake, and best might have been the amusement park, the feris wheel overlooking the lake and city. The whole city was magical.

Yes, that is “Navy Pier.” It literally used to be where the US Navy practiced! I think the same about Chicago, Marsha! You described the river tour and water taxi so beautifully! Thank you so much! Cher xoxoxo

I took tons of pictures. Believe it or not the temperatures were in the 80s in late October. The week after we left, it snowed. 🙂
