Happy First Day of Fall from Chicago! I took this photo of “The Bean” a few years ago. Since COVID is our norm at the moment, I haven’t been able to get to this lovely area for quite some time.
Ah, the crisp air, pumpkins, Halloween, and crunchy leaves under my boots.
A time of renewal; that’s how I like to look at this time of year.
I hope wherever you are the planet, you will take pause and find something that gives you a feeling of renewal!
Marshmallows by the fire sound nice!

Ahh. The Bean. I hope I get back to Chicago to see it again before too long! ❤️
Me too, Michelle! That would be fantastic!! <3 Cher xo
I’m grateful we got to squeeze in at least a short visit in January before all the craziness hit!
Me too! It seems so long ago, though! But yes, very lucky to squeeze in a short visit!! Cher xo
Fall above all is my favorite time of year with fires in old idle fireplaces dancing to your nose in the crisp air. The leaves turning color and like you am crazy about pumpkins. I love the little trick o treaters. I slip demo tapes in their bags. Come to my house Cher. lol
I’ll be there on Halloween with my pumpkin bag ready to give you a demo tape! Hahahaha 😉 Cher xo
Delightful, Cher! <3 Have an awesome autumn! xo
That bean is a delight. I had an online friend with whom I have lost contact, but when I visited her in Chicago that was one of the highlights of the trip.
It’s such an iconic, Chicago landmark, isn’t it? I’m so glad you saw it! Cher xo
I love October!
I live in Spain, but I was in Chicago some years ago. A fantastic city!
Oh did you, Luccia! It really is, isn’t it? Thank you! Cher xo
Ah, me too!!
