Thank you, dear Bette! It is hard to believe the forest fires along the west coast have made it this far. You have summed it up perfectly; it is “eerily beautiful,” isn’t it? Cher xo

Even our skies here in the Northeast were a haze of gray on a sunny day… I’m wondering how sunset will fare. ❤ xo

Looks like you are getting the haze from the wildfires too. 😢

Yes *sigh* that’s exactly right, Michelle. Apparently it is going to continue for the rest of the week (at least). It was surreal seeing the sun shrouded in ‘clouds’. Cher xo

Wildfire smoke-clouds smothering most of Canada! Extremely concerning. Our face masks are serving double duty in Vancouver and Calgary, and our eastern maritime provinces! A disease specialist indicated it is equivalent to smoking cigarettes nonstop all day!!
    Thank you for sharing!

You’ve got that right, my dear! Really? I hadn’t heard about the comparison to smoking cigarettes! Wow! Thank you, my dear! Cher xo
