Now I know why I woke up early this morning! I was up about an hour earlier than normal, so I headed to the window and saw bits of orange glow peeking through the curtains.
I am so glad I did, as this beautiful sight was there to greet me!
Can you distinguish Lake Michigan from the horizon line? It was rather blurred this morning, but I think it looks lovely!
I hope you are having an equally lovely day! T.G.I.F.!

Excellent sunrise, Cher! Mine didn’t meet that, but the sunsets have been quite pretty, here in Texas…probably because of the poor air quality, but at least there’s some sort of a positive…
Hi Becky! Why thank you so much! I know what you mean! At certain times of the year (actually, it is usually about now) that the sunrises aren’t so brilliant. From September – January are usually the best!) I’ll send some cool sunrises your way!~ Cher xo
Fabulous photo, Cher! I can see the line where water meets the sky, beautiful Lake Michigan! I won’t be flying over it heading for Michigan this summer thanks to you know what…
Why thank you, John! Yes and yes! Hopefully you’ll get home in the fall or winter! I hope your family is doing well! Cher xo
Another dream photo. You must have been really early to catch this real-life painting.
Thank you, Erika! LOL Yes, I was up very early! When I saw the bit of orange peeking through the curtains, I knew I had to take some photos right away! It does look like a painting, doesn’t it? Have you ever heard of the artist named Kathleen Eaton? She’s from a place just outside of Chicago. Her art is sublime, and it’s always filled with oranges, pinks, and light purples. Cher xo
I have to google that artist. This sounds beautiful since I totally love those colors.
Hi Erika! She’s an incredible artist! Her work was on display for a long, long time at Midway Airport here in Chicago. Huge murals! Oh, you’d love her work! Cher xo
I saw some of her artwork. She is creating a sunset atmosphere with the colors she uses and creates.
Yes, exactly! I own one of her pieces, but they are expensive or I’d get more! There is just something so appealing about the colors! I met her once at an art fair and asked her why she doesn’t have people in almost all of her work. She told me that painting scenes is much easier than faces! LOL Cher xo
I get her explanation fully! Actually, I don’t need to have people in a picture, I like landscapes (and perhaps some animals) a lot more. Do you know Vladimir Kush? His artwork is breathtaking. He paints landscapes and sceneries but not the usual way. A sail is not a sail but formed with numberless butteflies, A cloud becomes lips. A shell is two people intertwined … I saw his paintings in an exhibition in Laguna Beach. This is his website

I’m the same, Erika! I’ve never heard of him but thank you so much for including this link! Oh did you? I have a feeling I’m going to love his work too! It sounds sublime! xoxo
His paintins are so inspiring. You find so many hidden things. Sometimes it is as if he was painting in metaphors.
How cool, Erika! I love his work!!! Wow! Cher xo
It is stunning, isn’t it?
Most definitely!! xo
😊😊
