Throwback Thursday: Clouds at Dusk

Oh how I love this photo! I took this pic last July just as dusk was approaching.  You can see a solitary sailboat gliding over Lake Michigan.  There is also a plane heading to O’Hare Airport here in Chicago.  In the foreground the setting sun is randomly (or at least, it seems random) lighting parts of the trees.

As I look out the window today, I cannot even see Lake Michigan because of the dense fog.  I thought this photo would remind us that yes, summer IS on its way!
