Unlike my previous Canada Goose friend who took off like a shot when I approached him last month, this friendly fellow decided it was ‘okay’ to come close to a fellow Canuck. Uninhibited by a human presence, this Canadian seemed in no rush to fly back to the Great White North. Could it be the talk of snow back home? Not to worry; they’ll be squawking over a Canadian Prairie pond soon enough!
He’s no Hoser 😉

Chicago is quite a stopping-off point for Canada geese. There was a lawn at 31st and Meyers Road in Oak Brook that would be covered with them during migration season, and sometimes they’d walk out onto the road and stop traffic. Did you know that if you honk at a goose, the goose honks back? Learned that the hard way.

I didn’t know that, John! Any of it! I wonder what they are protesting with their matching honks? Uh oh, what happened? Cher xo
