It sure is a windy one here today in Chicago! I walked along Lake Michigan to take a few pictures and was literally almost blown away! What is usually fairly calm, blue water, Lake Michigan churned up its sandy bottom and created a whirlwind of brown water and white-cap waves!
When you have to ‘dodge’ the waves as you walk along the path, it’s time to seek higher ground! I used a zoom lens to get this photo thank goodness!
I hope your day/evening is much more calm than the wacky water of Lake Michigan today!
Great shot Cher. Our winds are from the west/southwest today generating 40+ gusts, yet another windstorm. A major low pressure center over Washington State and Oregon is driving our winds this time but it’s pulling in really nice warm air with the overcast skies. upper 70’s!

Very much Cher. Soon the summer temps will be back. 105 to 112 every day, High Desert life!! And when summer departs, the 70’s actually feel cold to this old northern man…
