It’s December 1st (already!); looking out at Lake Michigan a few minutes ago, you’d never guess the calendar was accurate! It’s grey, rainy, and not in the slightest bit ‘festive’.
With that said, I thought it might be a nice ‘holiday’ idea to have, “The Chicago Files Holiday Blog Party” in the spirit of the season!
Please mark you calendars for Saturday, December 12th ALL DAY beginning at approximately 10:00 a.m. GMT (5:00 a.m. for those in the Central Time Zone) and stop by The Chicago Files for some holiday treats (oh yes, virtual Chicago deep-dish pizza cut into Christmas Tree shapes), egg-nog, and a few surprises as well.
Bring your blog posts along as well (you may post up to three); anything you’d like that is a favorite of yours. I’ll be sending out reminder posts along the way and including more information.
But for now, the invite is on the table, and you are cordially invited (did I mention there will be a few surprises?) Everyone is welcome, so please spread the holiday word if you are so inclined!!
