I honestly believe whoever is in charge of time has helped themselves to the button that speeds it up! WordPress greeted me today with a little, “Blog Anniversary” badge:
I cannot tell you what writing means to me. I cannot even begin to describe what a joy it is to have you read my posts, look at the photos I (attempt to) take, and the marvelous sharing YOU do with in the blogosphere. I had no idea what this blog would look like, what form it would take, or even if anyone would care to read it (let alone follow!) when I started its formation two years ago today.
It might sound trite, or perhaps even somewhat silly, but truly The Chicago Files has become part of me, my expression of observations, and something I am so incredibly grateful to have. It means that I’ve been so lucky to read your work, see your lives in photos and writings from around the planet, and take in your expressions of your world perspective. How grateful am I for that!!!
Thank YOU, dear readers, for allowing me to bring a mighty small (but sincere) attempt to share with you that which I feel you might want to know about, or see, or even at times a thought-provoking moment. If I do that in a tiny way, I am happy blogger girl!
