More of Lovely Lincoln Park!

Lincoln Park 3

As we make our way through Lincoln Park, we come across a walkway with a lovely pond meandering through the grounds.  If you did not know otherwise, you might think this photo was taken in a country setting.

And of course we must have our, “Canadian” content:

Canada Goose

Ah the Canada goose!  This little gem had a ‘glide-by’ while I was standing on the walkway.

Might I also add, “Happy Earth Day”!

Yahoo, a Canada Goose – gorgeous photos for Earth Day, Cher! It’s actually snowing here, on Earth Day, April 22 in Southwestern Ontario. Wow. That’s a first for me.
Hope you have a lovely evening, sweetie, thanks for making me think of summer as we’re shivering up here. 🙂
    Big hugs, Donna xo

Hi my dear! Well these were taken last summer! Guess what? It is FREEZING here and we had snow flurries this morning! Snow on Earth Day…..yes, how bizarre is that? I’d be okay with going right from this weather straight into summer!! *LOL* And to you as well, my dear! Big hugs, Cher xo

I think there are more Canada Geese in London than in Canada 😉 They seem to love parks don’t they – And they do help to mow the grass! Lincoln Park looks to be a great place for a day out.

*LOL* I would not doubt that for a second! They really do love parks, that’s for sure! Ah yes, the good Canadians that they are, the Canada Geese like to clean up the grass! hehehehe Lincoln Park is a gem in Chicago; and so close to downtown, it’s a lovely way of providing a bit of solace from what can otherwise be a busy day!
