The Friday File – Looks like a FAWN day!!

Deer Tim Hortons Winnipeg

Well, well, look what we have here!  A couple of weeks ago, I posted about Canada geese strutting their Canuck stuff down an Interstate Highway outside of Chicago.  Look what these Canadian deer are up to!

A few days ago these dear little deer were spotted strolling down one of the busiest roads in my old haunt of Winnipeg, Manitoba.  Poor souls had lost their way! But wait! What do we have here!  Oh I couldn’t have made this photo any better! Tim Hortons proudly displayed in the background!! I love the synchronicity of it all!

Never fear, my dears, the baby deer were escorted by the fine folks from the Winnipeg Police Department and taken to happier trails.

Regarding my Tim Hortons post last weekend, perhaps these three com padres were looking for the baby moose to play with!  Do you see what you started, Tim Horton?  *biggest grin*

I think the deer had already been to Tim’s and were running off the donuts they had scarfed up! I’m glad the deer were rescued and take to safety.

Those poor little babes. So glad they were rescued! Another good Friday File, Cher. And, what a great ad for Tom Horton’s. I know it’s by accident, but sometimes, the best things happen by accident, right? Have a great weekend. 🙂

Awh bless, dear Carol! Yes, they sure were and I am positive they are leaping for joy on the trails of Winnipeg away from the crowds (and Tim Hortons)! *LOL* Oh isn’t that funny about Tim Hortons? See, they are everywhere in Canada! 🙂 Yes, I agree, Carol; that is so true! And the same to you, my dear! Thank you! Big hugs, Cher xo

Had to look up Tim Hortons. So they’d been for a coffee! They’d need the caffeine to cope with the traffic!

We have lots of land here in the Forest.
Think they would transport them down here???????

They actually have tons of land (Winnipeg is in the Prairies of Canada; lots and lots of forests); these poor little creatures seemed to wander from the river trails (which is near the downtown) but they would have more land space then they would know what to do with! Otherwise, I’d be saying to you, let’s go get ’em!! Cher xo
