Millenium Park’s Fall Foliage

I wanted to show you a photo I recently took at Millenium Park in downtown Chicago.  This is a lovely walkway that takes you directly to the Art Institute of Chicago.  I was hoping to get a photo with only scenery as opposed to people walking by.  I waited as patiently as I could, but the walkers kept on walking! Alas, I decided to include these two gentleman in the photo once they were at the other end of the path!

I’ve been amazed at how long it has taken the leaves to turn colors this year.  Believe it or not, we still have many trees whose leaves have not yet ‘taken the plunge’, as it were.

One of my favorite things about Fall is the crunching sound the leaves make when I walk through them.  There’s just something comforting about that sound for some reason.

I hope you have a lovely Tuesday filled with comforting moments!
