Friday File: Chicago’s Eclectic Architectural Elements

I took this picture recently from the 19th floor of a downtown Chicago building.Β  I know I’ve said this before, but I absolutely love the mixture of old and new architectural styles that comprise the Chicago skyline and downtown.Β  It is interesting that it somehow works altogether, don’t you think? Now, I do prefer structures and buildings from decades and decades ago; however, some of the newer buildings bring a fresh element to the scenery.Β  You can see the, “John Hancock Building” towering in the background.

One of these days while I am taking photos from a skyscraper building, I’m sure I’ll see someone from another building taking pictures of the one I’m in! LOL
