I had planned on making this post the usual “Wordless Wednesday”, but I thought these photos needed a wee bit of written detail!
Here’s the brief: the first photo is one that I took. The rest are “zoomed in” and “magnified” by CoPilot. They aren’t AI-generated – they were digitally isolated from my original photo, and the white background lets you see the detail up close!
So, without further ado, please let me know what you think!

just a yellow green chicago river tuesday next Cher!

I forget the name of the material the fly is lodged in but that bug could be millions of years old. For all we humans know, it could release a deadly virus if it were opened. Just a guess.

First pic a person’s face right hand corner in black countours. A rabbit hopping more to the left 1/4 from left hand side. A crayfish down below a little ways from left. Several faces throughout what looks like a pendant and the pendant looks like amber preserved by tree sap.
Second pic a goldfish and a crayfish.
Third pic looks like a flies eye but the wing is too close to the eye.
Hope you are doing Cher sending you healing, comfort, and peace. XOXO big hugs

You are correct, my friend! Yes, it is an amber pendant preserved by tree sap. I think it is so cool that you found all of these shapes and forms, Joseph! Then again, you always find the hidden objects in the clouds! Ah, thank you and the same to you, my friend! Big hugs back at you! Cher xoxoxo

I see a little kangaroo with a balloon landing on his backside, and then I could see what I think is a locust, the rest makes me think of summer and mosquitoes
Is this amber?

A prehistoric fly. Pretty cool, how you separated it visually from the amber.

Hi dear Erika! Thank you so much! I used “CoPilot” which is a Microsoft AI product. I provided my photo of the amber, and I asked CoPilot to magnify the areas in the amber as much as possible. I was actually shocked at the detail! Cher xoxoxo

I know CoPilot. I worked with it this week on a document. It may have worked well with the picture but for what I needed it for it is just too stupid🤦♀️

Oh, I’m so sorry about that, Erika! If you need any help with it, I’d be happy oblige! Cher xoxoxo

Thank you, Cher, the dumb thing explains everything it did, which it actually did not… lol

i think it’s a relic of a big ol’ dead fly, mummified by a killer spider’s secretion. It’s cool! Thank you for sharing.

My sister-in-law has quite a bit of amber jewellery, but I’ve never seen any insects inside any of it, Cher. Amber is very sought after these days and fetches quite a lot of money at auction. She won’t sell any of it, though.

Does she, Hugh? Does your sister-in-law have different types of amber, or is it mainly pendants? I must admit I was a bit surprised when I had Microsoft’s CoPilot zoom in on the pendant. I thought it might be a plant fossil.
I only have a few pieces, but I feel the same way as your sister-in-law.
Thank you, Hugh! Cher xoxoxo

She has an amber necklace and an amber bracelet, Cher. She bought them about 25 years ago. I remember her bringing them home and how shocked we were by the size of the necklace. I’ve not seen her wear them for many years.

I’ll bet they are beautiful, Hugh! Is the bracelet several pieces of amber? Cher xoxoxo

From what I remember, yes, several pieces, Cher. I think it matched the necklace.
