Chicago’s Millenium Park: Slide Ride, Anyone?

I really love Millenium Park in downtown Chicago.  It seems like such juxtaposition to have tall skyscrapers looming in the background at the same time that a slide appears directly in front of me!  This area of Chicago has a series of walkways, foliage, park areas with many kid-friendly structures to climb on, when all the while the tall buildings on Michigan Avenue appear to be standing guard, it you will.

The view you are seeing faces west; if I were to turn around and face east I would be looking at Lake Michigan.  Enveloped in downtown Chicago are so many different man-made and natural views.

As I write this on Saturday morning the rain is blurring my view of Lake Michigan; there definitely isn’t much juxtaposition going on at the moment!  I hope your Saturday is filled with lots of interesting points to ponder!
