Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Where The Chicago River is Green!(Repost)

[courtesy https://nbcnews.go.com/%5D

This is a repost of a previous St. Patrick’s Day post but with some new photos and updates included from various sources. However, I plan to post some photos (that I will take of this year’s (2024) Chicago River with its green hue) this Wednesday for “Wordless Wednesday.” Thank you!

Well, now, look what we have here!

On March 16, 2024, the Chicago Plumbers Union Local 130 again had the honor of bestowing the Chicago River with its neon green color since 1962. A vegetable dye is used to create this incredible sight:

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, one and all! I hope you have a delightful, four-leaf clover kind of day!
