The Friday File…………..Food Truck For Fido!

Food Truck for Fido 2

– photos in this post courtesy of my friend Karin; thank you!

Well now, here’s one for the book of, “I had no idea there was such a thing!”

Food trucks are very popular in large American cities.  Having a tasty (and often very delicious) meal ‘on the go’ is food for thought, no doubt about it.  Why, it shouldn’t be such a stretch of the imagination to transfer this culinary convenience to our four-legged friends, should it?

Enter, “Fido To Go”, the food truck for fur persons.  The doggie treats served from this little yellow wagon are all natural, organic, USA-sourced ingredients.  After reading about this company, I must say I am extremely impressed.  Every month a treat is selected as the featured treat; ten percent of sales go to charitable organizations.   The company has a truck here in Chicago, and one in San Diego, California.

Food Truck for Fido

With so many stories of cruelty, abuse, and negativity regarding our dear canine companions, this treat truck warms my heart.  Kindness, affection, thoughtfulness, and compassion provide a monumentally better experience for all of us who share the planet.  Ah, I can see the tails wagging from here!
