It’s amazing how the light of the purple flame ignites the sky with its beauty.
That is beautiful, Joseph! Thank you so much! What was so interesting is that I could not see this beauty in the sky until I looked at the photo. The sky was black until the lightning brightened up the sky and clouds. The purple was such a treat! Thank you, my friend. Cher xoxoxo
You’re welcome. It’s s a stunning photo
xoxoxo
Makes me want to shout, “Glorious! God you are so good to us down here! Thank you!”
Amen to that, my friend! Cher xoxoxo
Wowza!
Agreed! Thank you, David! Cher xoxoxo
I’m watching the weather channel this morning, you guys were hit with some bad storms, Cher! Be safe. ❤️
Oh, did you, John? Yes, there were a couple of tornado touchdowns in Illinois. Sunny skies at the moment. Thank you so much, John! You know how much I appreciate it! Cher xoxoxo
You’re welcome Cher. 😊 Tornadoes are very scary.
Oh yes, they sure are, John! Cher xoxoxo
Striking and powerful capture – LOVE! Enjoy your day 🙂
Ah, why thank you so much! And to you as well! Cher xoxoxo
Amazing photo Cher, like how it captures the light
Thank you so much, dear Eddie! It was quite surprising when I saw the photo, because while I was taking it, the sky was dark and for a split second, there were flashes of light. I took A LOT of photos to get this one, but I am so grateful I did. Thank you, dear Eddie! Blessings to you always, Cher xoxoxo
It’s that ‘split second’ that makes all the difference in the world! You caught it right
in this one for sure!
Ah, thanks so much, dear Eddie! I was super grateful for that moment! Blessings to you, Cher xoxoxo

Wow – That’s quite a sky! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a purple sky!
Thanks so much, JT! I hadn’t either, and I was quite shocked to see how the photo turned out, as I kept taking photo after photo into the dark sky. Cher xoxoxo
Wow when the storm hit…it really hit.
It certainly did my fellow Chicagoan! I hope your area was okay! Cher xoxoxo
What an amazing photo! So very dramatic and moody.
Why thank you so much, Lisa! I appreciate it! Cher xoxoxo
What a beautiful photo, Cher. The night sky lighting up always looks like something from a disaster movie to me. Or I feel like I’m in a horror movie. A spectacular light show you certainly had there. Were there lots of thunder, too?
Thank you so much, Hugh! I agree with you! Once I saw the photos, I was thinking that they belonged as a scary backdrop in a movie! Oh yes, there was a lot of lightning! You know, there wasn’t much thunder, but I think that was a good thing, as I might have jumped ten feet in the air while taking the photos if there had been a loud clap at the same time! LOL
Thank you so much, Hugh! Cher xoxoxo
Goes to show that there is beauty in the darkness. Beautiful capture.
I can’t even tell you how much I love your description! It’s quite a good reminder for many things in life. Thank you so much! Cher xoxoxo
