Sunrise, Lake Michigan: Golden Moments & a Beatles Tune

What a golden sunrise we have here! I took this photo a few days ago, and I must say the sunbeams on Lake Michigan’s icy surface look beautiful, don’t you think?

When I see the sun peeking out from behind the clouds, I think of the Beatles song, “Here Comes the Sun.” Let’s take a look at the lyrics:

Here comes the sun do, do, do
Here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Little darling, it’s been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been here
Here comes the sun do, do, do
Here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it feels like years since it’s been here
Here comes the sun do, do, do
Here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Little darling, I feel that ice is slowly melting
Little darling, it seems like years since it’s been clear
Here comes the sun do, do, do
Here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Here comes the sun do, do, do
Here comes the sun
And I say it’s all right
Add to that a COVID-19 winter, and I’d say this song gives us even more hope that it will soon be just fine!
I hope you have a wonderful day, “And I say it’s all right.” 🙂
