Monday’s Sunrise, Pink & Purple Persuasion!

Well now, what do we have here?  What a colorful sunrise this morning here in Chicago!  This time of year brings with it the most stunning sunrises!  Can you see some of the pink light on Lake Michigan’s surface? The sky painter most definitely used the pink and purple palette today, don’t you think?

I hope you have a Monday as lovely as this sunrise!

Spectacular colors Cher! It must have been just a little brisk this morning for this photo?

Why thank you so much, dear Eddie! I must confess that I took the photo from my condo window! I’m extremely lucky to have such a fantastic view here in Chicago! But yes, the colors definitely equate to brisk temps! 😉 Cher xo

Ah, thank you so much, Becky! That’s really thoughtful of you to say! I definitely have to give credit to Mother Nature! 😉 The colors are especially brilliant in the winter. And they are so fleeting, Becky. As the sun rises, it creates fantastic colors on the clouds and the horizon line of Lake Michigan. I literally can see the scene changing right in front of me, and the next thing I know the colors are gone. 😦 Cher xo

If an artist put that on an easel, it would look like the artist was exaggerating. So beautiful.
