The weather here in Chicago has been abysmal to say the least. I can’t recall a more humid, rainy, and foggy summer since I moved here years ago.
I thought it would be a great way to start the week by posting a photo of a flower I saw in Seal Beach, California a couple of months ago.
I’m not sure what type of flower this is, but it certainly reminds me of sunshine, summer, perfect weather, and that great California vibe!
I hope you are having a sunny start to the week!

Sorry about all the humidity and rain Cher, that’s not comfortable weather yet better than being freezing cold right?
Thanks, John! Well, I’d rather have the cold (that’s a true Canadian statement right there!) LOL) 😉 Cher xo
How about 18% humidity then!
Perfect!!!!!

I enjoy seeing hibiscus as I walk around the neighborhood, I especially like the yellow and orange ones… we are in the middle of June Gloom… used to be common to have gloomy mornings this time of year but you always knew the sun would appear late morning… but nowadays the gloom can last all day… bleahhh…
You must see a lot of hibiscus! But I’m sorry you are in the middle of June Gloom! I didn’t know that about your area; I thought it was sunny for a good part of the day! Cher xo
It’s affecting the ripening of my tomatoes… I’ll have to buy them a sun lamp!!!
LOL Now that is a radical approach requirement, poor tomatoes!!! 😉
