Gorgeous Classic Ford: Seal Beach, California

A few weeks ago I wrote a post about stumbling upon a car show while on vacation in California:  1956 Chevy Bel Air Beauty:  Seal Beach, California.

Here is another gorgeous car from that show.  I know the above photo is a Ford; however, I’m not quite certain of the era.  I am thinking late 1930’s early 1940’s.  I just love this car!  It has quite the character, don’t you think?  If you look between the headlights there appears to be a “V” and the number “8”; I wonder if that stands for a V-8 engine?  I’ve mentioned before that I’m not a ‘car-person’; however, I bet there is someone out there who knows!

Here are a few more pics of the car from different angles:

The photo directly above is so “California”; do you see the shadows of a palm tree?  Very appropriate for the California cruisin’ culture!

Although I don’t know much about cars in general, I sure do appreciate the beauty of this one!

She’s a beauty! The early V-8 power plants had flat head engines, the exhaust and intake valves were not in the cylinder head itself yet, a very cool engine! I’m guessing this one has the flat head design. ❤️😎
