I believe that’s what they do when mating, Cher. Good capture of two Romeo’s trying to attract their Juliet.

Hi again, Hugh! I forgot to mention the bird on the left had a ‘heart shaped’ marking on its nose. I think you are spot on with your assessment, Hugh! Cher xo

I never noticed that, Cher. Thanks for pointing it out.

It’s a bit tough to see from the angle I took the photo, but it is definitely there. It sure does go with your description of our fine feathered friends! Thank you, dear Hugh! Cher xo

LOL Well I’d normally say “yes”, Luisa; however, it was quite cold the day I took the picture, and I was standing under a ‘warmer’ waiting for the train, as were the feathered friends! I think they’ve learned this trick (the puffer and the heater)! Hugh’s comments on this post are also a possibility too! Thank you, Luisa! Cher xo

I wonder when the warmer weather arrives if they still puff up. If they do I’ll let you know and we will then realize that they are fat after all Luisa! LOL Cher xo

Ah, thank you, Holly! Despite the fact they are ‘pigeons’ which seem to get a bad rap for lots of reasons, I like them. And the bird to the left actually had a ‘heart’ marking on its nose! Cher xo
