Sunday Serenity: Return of the Sun

***There is an audio clip accompaniment to this post just above this note!

It’s been quite cloudy recently here in Chicago.  I don’t think I’ve posted a sunrise picture for quite some time.  This morning it appeared that we would see the return of the sun, so I quickly snapped this photo before the bright ball of bursting light changed its mind and decided to hide once again.

I find it renewing to take a walk when the sun hasn’t shown up for a while and suddenly appears out of thin air (bad pun, noted)!

Yesterday I did just that.  Early in the morning I walked in an area that is very busy during business hours.  However, the street was practically empty and I absolutely loved it! Solace in the city.

I hope you are having a serene and solace Sunday.

I agree. I like it when the world is slowly awakening from its sleep. Those moments before are kind of magical.

It really is magical, isn’t it, Erika? That’s also how I feel when I look out at Lake Michigan early in the morning. It is surreal! Thank you my dear! Cher xo

Having a lake or ocean view is magical in general to me. I envy you for that… haha. It took me a while until I discovered what a beauty my mountain view is. I treasure it a lot meanwhile!

Oh the mountains! I love them! I’m so glad you discovered its beauty! And when I see mountains I think, wow, how amazing! I think that is why I love Hawaii so much, especially Maui. The West Maui Mountains and the ocean! Ah, now I want to go there right now! LOL Cher xo
