I was so pleased to look out of the window this morning to see this delightful sight! I immediately thought of it as a light, whispy, gentle scene. Lake Michigan was quite calm, so everything fit together perfectly.

Our first royal visitor appeared on July 12 and we’ve sighted a total of 12 so far counting one on the underside of a milkweed leaf this morning… I report all of my sighting to Journey North. Generally the last ones are in late September when they”re heading south. Oh, the wonder of it all. <3 Have an amazing weekend, Cher! xo
