Millenium Park Monday: Lurie Gardens, Downtown Chicago

A couple of weeks ago I took a stroll around Millenium Park in downtown Chicago.  There is a beautiful garden area inside the park called, “Lurie Gardens”.  It is absolutely beautiful to see various flowers and plants that change with the seasons.  I mean ‘literally’ change.  Most of the plants and flowers are removed at the end of each season (to be sure, some hearty gems stay for the long haul), only to be replaced by new ‘seasonally appropriate’ foliage.  Four different garden landscapes per year.  Isn’t that amazing?

I hope the start of your week is happily blossoming before your eyes!

It really is gorgeous, isn’t it? I love it and your picture is lovely…the flowers in front of the skyscrapers. Excellent. 🙂
