I took this picture while in Canada this past Christmas.  I just find this such a serene and calming scene.

Embracing the sound of winter’s silence while waiting for the renewal of spring.

    I love that photo! It feels so peaceful and yes, serene and calming. Everything is simple ok the way it is. Alignment. Wonderful!

Well our snowy scenes have now turned to rain soaked everything! *LOL* The temperatures have increased, although I daresay they will no doubt drop again soon!
