Another Moment of Macy’s Magic!

Every year I look forward to seeing the festive holiday windows at Macy’s on State Street here in Chicago.  It sure looks as if Santa is paying special attention to the, “Naughty & Nice” list, doesn’t it?

I was fortunate to get a clear pic of this window.  With gazillions of tourists vying for a position in front of the windows, it’s difficult to get a non-interrupted shot!

Oh, in case you missed the other pictures I’ve been posting from this year’s display, they are but a mere ‘click’ away:

Macy’s:  It’s Already Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!

I have a few more pictures in store to share soon! (get it? ‘in store’, Macy’s is a store and………………ah, attempt at humor without a full cup of coffee is probably an exercise in futility – *LOL*)

It’s a shame to see that stores with a century-old history are being taken down by Internet startups. But then again, one of the biggest companies in shipping started out as a catalog and took down its share of retail stores. Now Sears is seeing the other side of that coin.
