The Friday File: Spotlight on Lake Michigan

I took this picture this morning; I think Lake Michigan looks quite lovely with a spotlight on its surface, don’t you think?  The clouds opened up in a circular pattern long enough to allow the sun’s beams to produce a floodlight effect on the water!

Have a lovely Friday, everyone!

I love the great lakes! We just took the kids up in the UP and we they were excited to see Canada across the big lake! It’s the first time they’ve seen Lake Superior! 🙂 Awesome photo!

The lake has the look of it covered with ice.

You can always find something in a picture, that others don’t see. Don xo

Yes, that is so true, Don! I’m always looking at the clouds to see faces and shapes (actually, patterns in nature as well). Thanks, Don! Cher xo

What an awesome way to describe it, Traci; thank you! it’s completely different now, but I’m glad I was looking out the window when the clouds ‘opened up’ to reveal the spotlight! Cher xo
