Continuing with our Frank Lloyd Wright Series, the above photo is a fantastic Prairie style stained glass window located in Frank Lloyd Wright’s home in Oak Park, Illinois. FLW loved to not only design structures, but also what went inside as well. This window is no exception. Don’t you just love this incredible piece of art from at least 100 years ago? Simply stunning!

that looks like something from the future. kind of like circuitry or something you would see as a display.
That is a very interesting observation, Tony! This particular design is one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s ‘signature’ patterns. It is mind-boggling to think he was at least 100 years ahead of his time!! I love your description; thank you! Cher xo
Beautiful work by this man, as always. The glass reminds me of a printed circuit board too.
Hi John! Oh did it? You and Tony are both thinking on the same circuit! *biggest grin* Hey, it’s Saturday night! Time for my goofy side to pop out! Cher xo
Goofy is good my friend! ❤️
Wow thanks for sharing this xxx
Thank you, Lynn! Isn’t it lovely? Cher xo
A real pleasure. I would love to stand there with the light coming through.
I know what you mean, Hilary!!! Cher xo
Superb, love the colours.
Hello and a warm ‘official’ welcome to The Chicago Files!! I agree my dear; aren’t they lovely? All colors based on FLW’s “Prairie style” with nature as the blueprint! Cher xo
I’ve always been a fan of his work.
Oh me too! He was so incredibly ahead of his time, wasn’t he?
Oh yes.
Wow, Cher! I do love this!!! The color!! xo
I do too!! 🙂 🙂 Cher xo
That is beautiful! For me, stained glass reminds me of the Church I attended when I was a little girl.
