The Friday File – Macy’s Magical Windows!

It’s that time of year again when Macy’s Department Store brings the magic of the holiday season to its store windows! This year’s theme is, “Santa’s Journey to the Stars”.  The above photo is entitled, “Uranus & Neptune”.  It’s my favorite among this year’s windows.  I apologize for not getting the entire window in the photo! I love this window because to me it epitomizes frost, cool, magical, and special winter wonders!  My goodness, there appears to be a snowball fight in progress!! Let’s watch!

    Quite magnificent Cher. It is magical. I can imagine the gaze of a child standing in front of that.

    Spectacular window dressings!! They look amazing, they sure go all out ! Macey’s is also famous for the huge floats in the Thanks Giving day parade, that is pretty cool to watch too! Enjoy your “window shopping” !

    I guess the homey, old-fashioned Christmas windows went out when they took “Marshall Field” off the door. *sigh* Looks nice, anyway.
