Cloudscape over Chicago Sunrise

Quite a bit of variation in the, ‘cloudscape’ accompanying this morning’s sunrise.  I kept snapping photos until I captured the sun just peeking over the horizon.  Interesting patterns of clouds today.  Do you remember when you were a child and finger-painted in circles until your heart’s content?  That is exactly how some of the clouds appeared; at least, to me they did.  And there were ‘streaky’ clouds, wispy clouds, which, or course, does not provide you with the ‘real’ names of the clouds.  They are just my interpretation of the cloudscape this morning.  There was a lot going on in the sky today, with shades of pink and orange pushing through the grey tips of clouds.
