I am really excited to be hosting my first ‘blog party’ here at The Chicago Files tomorrow morning! We’ll get started at 5:00 a.m. Central Time (10:00 a.m. GMT for those in the UK). Everyone is invited!
Here’s an overview of the blog party:
1. Choose one of your favorite posts from your blog. Whatever you’d like to share with the rest of us, whether it be about travel, novels, food, personal adventures, blogging, photography, etc…………. You may share up to three of your posts during the party, but please post only one at a time. It’s best to wait awhile before sharing your second and third posts, as it will give others enough time to join in the fun!
2. Paste the link to your post in the comment section of the ‘party post’ (which will be ready at 5:00 a.m. Central Time, 10:00 a.m. GMT); if you’d like to write something about yourself or describe your blog, we’d love it!
3. Have fun! Since this is Chicago, we’ll have virtual deep-dish pizza, drinks, and you might find a Canadian dessert or two on the virtual blog food table! (I’ve got virtual Canadian butter tarts; a Canuck favorite and one of mine)! Explore new blogs, comment on their posts, follow, reblog and share. Let other bloggers know that you met them here at this blog party! Whether you are new to the blogging world or have been part of it for a while, this is a terrific opportunity for everyone to meet new and awesome bloggers (including them meeting you)!
Feel free to let your blogging friends know about it, too! Oh, and for those who don’t have a blog but would like to find new and amazing blogs to read, please stop by! The party will be happening all day!

Those my dear are a Canadian delight! They are called, “Butter Tarts”. You see them at every Canadian party where sweets are served. They usually have either pecans or walnuts in them! They are THE BEST! Cher xo

Really loved the Pussycats 3! I could almost feel the joy in that massive beautiful creature, acting like a playful kitten! Reveling in the grass, so calm you got right up to his pads of his feet – very worn indeed! We must protect and cherish our World, there’s no “re-do’s” !!!
