While gazing over Lake Michigan the other day, I was greeted by a rather interesting cloud gathering. It’s almost as if they were having a ‘cloud meeting’ of sorts. White, textured, popcorn-like clouds intertwined with long, grey barge-shaped clouds attempting to intimidate but literally filled with nothing more than hot air I suppose!
The ‘walled’ clouds seem to fill up some of the background, all the while pink hues of light kept any foreboding rain at bay.
And as quickly as this theatrical cloud contingency appeared in my midst, poof, it was gone.
Looks like we were both shown the beauty of clouds!! Hope you are well! Many blessings <3

Maybe one day. My dad grew up in Michigan. We used to collect agates on the shores.

Yes, they were treasures for me. I still have some, 30 years later. My father’s family all come from the great lakes, Canada and US sides.

Yes, my family were originally in Canada, and then crossed the border in the great-great- or great-great-great-grandparent stage. We’re lost touch with the Canadian branch, but they are undoubtedly still there.
I always find it fascinating when that happens, Brenda. In the knowing there are those we are related to ‘out there’, but unaware at the same time as to who they are!
I’ve started to think we are all related if only we go back far enough. 🙂
