An Odyssey Adventure Coming Soon!

For many of you who stop by The Chicago Files on a regular basis (thank you kindly for that!) this next statement will come as no earth shattering surprise:  I love Chicago.  I adore its standout skyline and breathtaking, Lake Michigan backdrop.  During the past few weeks, I’ve been sharing Chicago from various angles (and heights; yikes!), hoping to provide you with the Chicago that I see and experience.

Then it dawned on me that I haven’t seen Chicago from one of the most stunning perspectives of all; that is, from a, “cruising Lake Michigan” vantage point!

In a couple of weeks I will be doing just that aboard the jaw-dropping ship, “Odyssey”.

I am extremely thrilled to be visiting the Odyssey for a lunch cruise.  It’s a two-hour cruise that will meander along a route allowing Chicago’s skyline to be observed from a unique and exceptional perspective.

I cannot believe I’ve never taken this cruise before! I’ve seen the Odyssey (it begins its cruising adventures from Navy Pier here in Chicago) on numerous occasions and wondered aloud what it must feel like to partake in a sailing journey.

I will be sharing my experiences (and photos) with you in a post shortly after the cruise.  What fun! I can’t wait to share it with you!
