Wednesday’s Sunrise full of promise……….

Lake Michigan sunrise Feb 18 2015

Although not as bold and colorful as sunrises during the past week or so, this morning’s sun provided me with a gentleness instead.  I love how the clouds seem to frame the sun, and I was able to catch a photo just as its beams began to appear onto Lake Michigan.

A quiet, rather non-intrusive way to begin the middle of the week.  I hope you are enjoying your Wednesday!!

Ah, my friend, beautiful sunrise, freezing cold temps. Brrrrr…be careful out there. We are in the deep freeze and it’s time for winter to go play somewhere else.

Thank you my dear! Yes, Once again the sunrise is a deception of warmth! I shall dress extra-warmly! I agree with you, but I can’t wish for it to go to Canada, as they have enough ‘play’ this winter with their weather! *grin* Hhhhmm, where can it go?? 😉 Cher xo

There’s a tremendous amount of variety in your sunrises there Cher. They really are beautiful in all their different moods.

Thank you so much, dear Don! Yes, I find it literally amazing to see the same ‘scene’ that looks entirely different from one minute to the next! Intense colors one day, and then next they are muted, subtle, and ‘feel’ quiet, if that makes sense! Cher xo

The unseen artist of the sky just never exhausts her creativity. There’s always something different. 🙂

Thank you, Joseph! Ah yes, I feel the same way! Here in Chicago we have had a record-breaking cold day! *However, being a hearty Canuck, I mustn’t complain too loud! 🙂 Cher xo

Just got off the phone with a friend in Chicago. Twenty below zero with the wind chill! Stay warm, Cher!

Ah, bless! Thank you, dear Carol! It’s amazing how the scene can last but a few fleeting moments; and yet, the feeling of serenity (as you so perfectly said it) can stay with you all day! Cher xo
