Here I go again, filling the blogosphere with my captures of fleeting moments as the sun peeks over the horizon.
This morning the sky was enveloped in tints of orange and red. Under the Tuscan Sun? *grin* No, it’s Chicago, greeting the day with surreal splendor.
Good morning!!! I hope your day is filled with inspiration!

Now that’s a beautiful photo! You live in a terrific location. 🙂 The sunrise here, too, was great at least from the cameras on top of the local broadcast antennas. Here on the ground it looks pretty much the same everyday. 🙁 I need a little more room to see the beauties of nature as you see them. Thanks for sharing!
Ah, thanks so much, Mike! I am so grateful for this phenomenal scenery. It changes so often that I liken it to an every-changing painting. With dark, grey clouds that roar past the windows, to the sun shining on the water, it truly is a fantastic location. Oh yes, you most certainly do need a little more room to see the sights. No climbing on top of the antennas though, k? *grin Cher xo
Amazingly beautiful. Thank You so much for Sharing 🙂
Ah, thank you, Morgan! I hope you have a wonderful day!!! Cher xo
And You 🙂
Thank you, Morgan!! xo

Hi Allison! Yeay to YOU!!!! Thank you, my dear! I owe you an e; it’s coming!! Sending you tons of big love and light, too; how about orange? 🙂 🙂 🙂 Cher xo
Please do not worry, take your time – whenever the spirit moves you, I’m here 🙂 I adore orange – autumn is my absolute favorite time of year. Something warm, spicey and decadent about it. . . hugs! xxoo
Thanks, dear! Then this orange sunrise is dedicated to YOU and your magical growth! I love this time of year, too! It’s soooooo orange *biggest grin* Cher xo
I’m totally soaking it in! 🙂 Bless you!

A Fabulous good morning to you too.. Wonderful view and beautiful sky.. 🙂
Thank you, dear Sue! I’ve been blessed with a hummingbird entering my space, and now this orange sky which to me speaks of abundance. Hhhhmmm, now where did that come from? *yet another big grin* I hope you have a blessed and fantastic day, Sue! Cher xo
It’s a nice capture! you caught the sun just as it’s about to completely set 🙂
Good morning, Andy! Thank you! Actually, it was rising but who am I to judge? *biggest grin ever, hands Andy a jumbo-sized ice cream cone* xo
*Happily accepts* yummy!!
*figuring that Costco supply MUST be getting a big low by now* 🙂
lol I’ve been working 16 hours to no end so there’s still quite a bit 🙂
Those are crazy hours, Andy! Gee!!! But, your ice cream cones are waiting for you when you stop working that much so I see where you are coming from! 😉 xo
OH i reward myself don’t you worry LOL
Haha, I shouldn’t have doubted!! 🙂
Beautiful picture! I also love the title! 🙂
Awh, thank you so much! I was wondering if anyone would like the title!! 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful, orange day!!! Cher xo
Gorgeous photo, I envy you your talent. I love taking photos too but nothing like this ever appears after I’ve clicked. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂
Ah, thank you so much, Jane! I honestly feel I have no photography talent whatsoever! I think I am just incredibly lucky that Mother Nature makes it so easy for me!!!! Cher xo
Nope, talent it is! Anyone can point a posh super-duper camera lens….and never get the same shots. Photography is my second love. So I always enjoy a great photo by others. 🙂 Jane xx
Thank you, Jane! I use the camera on my phone, so I always just hope for the best! *grin* 🙂 Cher xo
Cool camera. It works 🙂
I once took a picture with this phone in a direction that clearly shouldn’t have made for a very good picture. The sun was extremely bright, and for some unbeknownst reason, it was perfect. No skill my dear, just luck (well, gratitude, so perhaps that was it!) xo 🙂 Thank you, Jane!
I often think those photos we don’t think about, but just point and shoot, work out the best. 🙂
*LOL* Jane, I think that method has produced my best photos!! *grin* Cher xo
Me too…all that flipping preparation and fancy gear. …lol unnecessary. We just have plain talent…:)
*biggest grin ever* xo
Grand 🙂
That is beautiful! I miss it up north. It’s so gorgeous up there.
Thank you so much! I had to grin to myself when you mentioned, “up north”. As a Canadian, when we say, “up north” it means, ice, snow, and lots of it!! *grin* It is gorgeous here, isn’t it? I love this area of the country, too!! Cher xo
That’s funny. I wouldn’t like your “up north”, but I love mine, during the summer at least. It is so beautiful up there. Heavenly in places.
*LOL* I remember the first time I saw Lake Michigan; I could hardly believe my eyes! The water is so blue! Yes, I most definitely understand why you love your, “up north”!! Cher xo
Lovely sunrise and warm glowing colours! Nice capture Cher. 🙂
Thank you, Iris! it was such a spectacle when I it! I think I said, “Wow” out loud!! *grin* I hope you are having a lovely day! Love, Cher xo
Thanks and you too! Love Iris 🙂
🙂
Great work!!
Awh, thank you, John!!! Cher xo
You’re inspirational! All the best… Settling into new home in Kentucky – huge and lovely and tiring! 🙂
Awh, bless! Thank you, Billy Ray! Well hey, that sounds like a fantastic and exciting new world for you! Ah yes, the tiring part; pace yourself my dear! And then suddenly you will look around, and smile at it all!!! Cher xo
Wow!
Thank you, David!! Would the same have been said if my post portrayed a donut? I think not! *biggest grin ever* By the way, I have not had a donut in about a year! I need my Timmies!!! Cher xo
LAUGHING. And I think I had problems! 🙂
*HAHA I think I might have donut issues! 😉
You have got to be kidding. No donuts in one year. YOU ARE NOT HUMAN
See that photo on my blog of me? Nah, figment of your imagination!! *biggest grin*
Reblogged this on georgeforfun.
Orange and beautiful, Cher. Very nice.
Thank you, Bruce! As cliche as it is, it truly was a sight to behold!! Cher xo
For sure. It was the only sunrise you were getting that day, so grab on to it.
And it was so quick as you can imagine. I took a few pictures and then the scene (as it does of course!) changed dramatically. I was so grateful to be looking out the window at the very moment the sky was painted orange!! *grin* Cher xo
One of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen from the shores of Lake Michigan.
and you got the shot. great photo
Awh, thank you so much, Eddie! I was grinning from ear to ear when I saw the orange glow; it was humbling to the core. Our earth is brilliant and I’m so grateful for these magical moments!! cher xo
