Grey Day, at least it’s Saturday!

Lake Michigan Oct 18 2014

The color appears to have been virtually zapped out of my every-changing painting I call Lake Michigan!Β  The waves are high today, and yet, there is a sense of calmness as I look toward the greyness.Β  Rather an oxymoron, no doubt.Β  Interestingly enough, after I snapped this photo, I gazed again out to the horizon; this time, I saw a group of birds providing some free entertainment as they glided in group formation in a circular pattern.

Within the group was either a falcon or an eagle; it looked much, much larger than the rest of the troop, but seemed quite comfortable in their company.

I guess the grey day doesn’t really matter much when you are focused more on the wind and simply, “being”.

Have a wonderful day, everyone!!
