The Friday File: Wind-Blown Lake Michigan!

It sure is a windy one here today in Chicago! I walked along Lake Michigan to take a few pictures and was literally almost blown away! What is usually fairly calm, blue water, Lake Michigan churned up its sandy bottom and created a whirlwind of brown water and white-cap waves!

When you have to ‘dodge’ the waves as you walk along the path, it’s time to seek higher ground! Β I used a zoom lens to get this photo thank goodness!

I hope your day/evening is much more calm than the wacky water of Lake Michigan today!
