Yesterday’s Blog Party: Virtual Chicago deep-dish pizza, Canadian butter tarts, Nanaimo bars, along with various virtual libations. My first blog party and I utterly loved it! I was very nervous hosting this party, despite the fact it was held in cyberspace, I still felt jittery. Would anyone show up? What if no one did and I’m left to my own devices chomping down on my virtual deep-dish pizza alone? I’ve always I been a worrier, even a virtual one it seems!
I set my alarm to greet me to the tune of 4:45 a.m. yesterday (Saturday) morning. I wanted to make sure my fellow bloggers from around the globe would have time to join in the festivities! Bleary-eyed with coffee cup beside me, I sat in front of my computer, anxiously waiting for bloggers to knock on The Chicago Files door. And they did.
I was overwhelmed by the number of fantastic bloggers who attended the blog party. You brought your incredible photos, stories, humor, insight, interests, passions, and thought-provoking experiences to share with others. I am inspired by your willingness to share your most heart-felt words of wisdom.
Thank you so much to every one of you who attended the blog party. For those of you who couldn’t attend, believe me when I say you were missed! For anyone who wasn’t able to attend but would like to add your posts to the party, by all means, please feel free to do so right here: The Chicago Files Blog Party!
I want to give a huge THANK YOU to dear Suzie at Suzie Speaks. Not only did Suzie provide me with the information about hosting a blog party (she’s hosted before and hers have been brilliant) but she wrote a post about my party letting her readers know about it. Suzie, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Thanks, everyone! Keep sharing the blog love!
