Happy Easter from The Chicago Files!

I took this picture of a lovely church tower and thought it would be nice to share it on Easter Sunday.  Isn’t this stone beautiful?  This is part of the, “Epworth United Methodist Church.”  Most of the church was built in the early 1890’s.  Some of the boulders used to construct parts of the church came from Wisconsin which were floated south down to Chicago via Lake Michigan.  I’m not exactly sure how the builders carried out this interesting adventure, but I am certainly glad they did!

Happy Easter, everyone!
